Meet the Heart Behind Namaste Shenoa

 

Welcome to Namaste Shenoa — a small, independently owned business based in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

Namaste Shenoa is simply me, Shenoa, with plenty of support (and patience!) from my husband behind the scenes, and my amazing friend Sarah, who has become an invaluable part of Namaste Shenoa. When I’m travelling or overseas, Sarah takes wonderful care of things back home, including carefully packing and sending your orders on their way.

My love of crystals and gemstones began when I was very young and has stayed with me throughout my life. After more than 30 years of travelling and exploring different parts of the world, that fascination has grown into a genuine passion for finding beautiful, unusual pieces and sharing them with others.

I work closely with trusted wholesalers and personally select the crystals and gemstones I offer, choosing pieces for their beauty, quality and individuality. My collection is constantly evolving, with treasures sourced from around the world.

My travels to Nepal hold a particularly special place in my heart. It was through my time there, surrounded by beautiful beads, gemstones, sandalwood and traditional Mālās, that my love of creating Mālās truly blossomed. For more than a decade, I have been handcrafting one-of-a-kind Mālās, including pieces featuring our beautiful New Zealand Pounamu/Greenstone.

Every Mālā is handmade by me here in New Zealand, and I especially love creating custom pieces with stones, colours and details chosen specifically for the person who will wear them.

Alongside my Mālās, you'll find a carefully curated collection of crystals, gemstones and unique treasures for you and your home. New pieces are added regularly, so there is always something new to discover.
