Blue Lace Agate is a beautiful variety of Chalcedony, loved for its delicate layers of soft blue, white and pale grey. Its fine, lace-like banding creates beautiful flowing patterns that make every piece completely unique.

It forms when silica-rich material gradually fills cavities within rock, building up in layers over long periods of time. Blue Lace Agate can occur in nodules and geodes, sometimes with natural cavities lined with sparkling Quartz or Druzy crystals.

Some of the most beautiful material displays intricate bands that resemble waves, clouds or delicate lace, with colours ranging from almost white and powder blue through to stronger sky-blue tones.

Metaphysically, Blue Lace Agate is believed to be a wonderfully calming and gentle stone. It is associated with peaceful communication, emotional balance and expressing yourself with confidence and clarity, and is commonly connected with the Throat Chakra.
