Dragon Blood Stone is a striking stone known for its beautiful combination of deep forest green and rich red markings, giving it the dramatic appearance that inspired its name.

Despite sometimes being called Dragon Blood Jasper, it is not a true Jasper. The material commonly sold as Dragon Blood Stone is generally a combination of green Epidote with red Piemontite, creating incredible natural patterns of green, red, burgundy and earthy tones throughout each piece.

Every piece is completely unique, with some showing bold splashes of red against deep green while others have more intricate swirls, patches and mottled patterns.

Metaphysically, Dragon Blood Stone is believed to be a stone of strength, courage and vitality. It is associated with confidence, resilience, grounding and personal growth, while its green and red colouring is often connected with both the Heart and Root Chakras.

Beautiful when polished into spheres, towers, freeforms, hearts and carvings, Dragon Blood Stone is a wonderfully earthy and distinctive addition to any crystal collection.
