Lepidolite is a beautiful member of the Mica mineral group, recognised for its gorgeous shades of lilac, lavender, soft purple and pink, often with a distinctive pearly or shimmering lustre.
It is naturally rich in lithium and commonly forms in granitic pegmatites alongside minerals such as Tourmaline and Spodumene. Its layered, mica-like structure can create beautiful sparkling, flaky or scale-like formations, while polished Lepidolite can display wonderful variations of purple, pink, white and grey.
Metaphysically, Lepidolite is especially loved for its calming and peaceful energy. It is believed to support emotional balance, encourage relaxation and help during periods of change and transition. It is also commonly associated with the Third Eye and Crown Chakras.
