Lepidolite

Lepidolite is a purple to lilac-grey or rose-colored phyllosilicate mineral, a member of the mica group, and is an important source of lithium. Its distinctive colour is attributed to the presence of manganese, and it often occurs in granitic pegmatites alongside other lithium-bearing minerals like spodumene and tourmaline. Lepidolite is highly regarded by collectors and in metaphysical circles for its aesthetic appeal and purported calming properties. Its pearly lustre and often platy, scale-like aggregates make it a visually striking mineral, frequently incorporated into jewellry and ornamental carvings.
