Rhodonite is a beautiful manganese silicate mineral, best known for its gorgeous shades of soft blush pink, rose and raspberry through to rich reddish-pink.

One of its most distinctive features is the contrast between the pink Rhodonite and its naturally occurring dark brown or black manganese oxide veining and markings. Some pieces are predominantly pink, while others have dramatic black patterns running throughout, making every piece completely unique.

Rhodonite typically forms in manganese-rich metamorphic deposits and can occur as massive material suitable for polishing and carving, as well as more unusual crystalline specimens. Its combination of beautiful colour and striking natural patterns has made it a favourite for jewellery, carvings and ornamental pieces.

Metaphysically, Rhodonite is believed to be a nurturing stone associated with love, compassion, emotional balance and self-worth. It is commonly connected with the Heart Chakra and is often associated with forgiveness, confidence, emotional strength and encouraging healthier relationships with ourselves and others.
