A Little About Celestite

Celestite, also known as Celestine, is a naturally occurring strontium sulphate mineral loved for its delicate blue colouring and beautiful transparent to translucent crystals.

Sakoany in Madagascar is particularly known for producing Blue Celestite geodes and crystal specimens, often with gorgeous glassy crystals developing inside natural cavities. Each formation is completely unique, with differences in crystal size, clarity, colour and structure.

Metaphysically, Celestite is associated with peace, tranquillity and spiritual connection. Its gentle energy is believed to calm the mind, encourage emotional balance and support peaceful, clear communication.

It is also associated with intuition and spiritual awareness and is particularly connected with the Throat and Crown Chakras, making it a beautiful crystal for meditation, relaxation or creating a peaceful atmosphere in the home.

The abundance of natural blue crystals in this heart makes it a particularly beautiful example of Sakoany Celestite and an incredible display piece.
