Angelite Tower, “Snowflake”-“Feather”

Beautiful Rare “Snowflake” / “Feather” Angelite Tower

A gorgeous chunky Angelite tower and such an unusual find from Peru.

This beautiful variety has been given the name “Snowflake” or “Feather” Angelite because of the delicate white, feather-like formations scattered throughout its soft powdery blue-grey colouring. It also has a lovely subtle shimmer that catches the light, giving the stone an almost dreamy, ethereal appearance.

At 565g, this is a wonderfully substantial and weighty tower with lots of natural character. The combination of soft colour, snowy white patterns and gentle sparkle makes this such a special piece.

Weight: 565g
Height: 10cm

Angelite is the trade name commonly given to blue Anhydrite, a calcium sulfate mineral. It is loved for its beautiful powdery blue colouring and smooth, almost silky appearance when polished.

This unusual material from Peru features distinctive pale inclusions and natural patterning that have inspired the names “Snowflake” and “Feather” Angelite. Each piece forms differently, so the patterns, colouring and little areas of sparkle are completely unique.

Metaphysically, Angelite is traditionally associated with peace, compassion and gentle spiritual connection.

It is believed to have a beautifully calming energy, helping to soothe emotional tension, encourage inner peace and create a sense of tranquillity. Angelite is also strongly associated with angelic connection, intuition and spiritual communication — hence its beautiful name.

Often connected with the throat, third eye and crown chakras, it is believed to encourage gentle communication, heightened awareness and a deeper connection to your intuition and spiritual guidance.

A wonderfully peaceful crystal with a soft, nurturing energy — and this unusual Snowflake/Feather variety makes it even more special.
