This gorgeous old-stock 6th Vein Orbicular Ocean Jasper Sphere is an absolute beauty.

This sphere has a beautiful softer palette, with layers of creamy whites, greys and earthy tones flowing through the natural orbicular patterning. A gorgeous sparkling druzy pocket adds another dimension to the stone, while the subtle variations in colour and formation give it a completely different character from every angle.

I purchased this material from a wholesaler in 2020 and have had it carefully stashed away ever since. I have finally decided to release a small handful, with four more pieces currently listed.

A Little About 6th Vein Ocean Jasper

Ocean Jasper is a rare variety of chalcedony from Madagascar, famous for its distinctive orbicular formations. The circles, rings and eye-like patterns can occur in an extraordinary range of colours, making every piece completely unique.

Different deposits, commonly referred to as “veins,” produced their own distinctive combinations of colour and pattern. Older material with strong, well-defined orbs has become particularly sought after by Ocean Jasper collectors.

Metaphysically, Ocean Jasper is often known as a “Stone of Harmony and Abundance.”

It is believed to encourage joy, optimism and emotional balance while supporting creativity and personal growth. It is also traditionally associated with prosperity, good fortune and welcoming positive opportunities into your life.

Ocean Jasper is commonly connected with the Heart, Throat and Solar Plexus Chakras, linking it with compassion, communication, confidence and spiritual awareness.

A beautiful piece of Ocean Jasper history that I’ve held onto for years, and one that will be incredibly difficult for me to replace once my small stash is gone.
