An absolutely gorgeous Black Amethyst freeform from Uruguay, covered in the most incredible super-fine sugar druzy that sparkles like millions of tiny stars when it catches the light.
The surface is filled with beautiful little bubble-like formations coated in delicate grey-black druzy crystal points. There is so much sparkle across this piece, and it looks completely different as you move it around in the light — definitely one that is even more beautiful in person.
I've sourced from Uruguay, an area renowned for producing beautiful, richly coloured Amethyst specimens.

Black Amethyst is a darker variety of Amethyst, with its smoky grey to almost black appearance associated with mineral inclusions, including iron-rich minerals such as Hematite.
