A Little About Crazy Lace Agate

Crazy Lace Agate, also known as Mexican Agate, is a variety of banded chalcedony famous for its incredibly detailed, almost lace-like patterns.

Its distinctive colouring comes from different mineral inclusions, creating wonderful combinations of creamy whites, browns, greys, golds and blacks, sometimes with touches of pink and red woven through the stone.

It really is one of those stones you can sit and look at for ages because there is always another little pattern to discover.

Metaphysically, Crazy Lace Agate is affectionately known as the “Laughter Stone” or “Happy Lace” and is traditionally associated with joy, positivity and a lighter outlook on life.

Like other Agates, it is also believed to have a grounding and balancing energy, helping you feel more centred and stable while absorbing unwanted or negative energy.
