Moss Agate is a variety of chalcedony known for its distinctive branching and moss-like mineral inclusions. Despite its name, there is no actual moss inside the stone. The beautiful green, brown and earthy patterns are created by mineral inclusions, often including iron and manganese compounds, which form naturally within the stone.

Metaphysically, Moss Agate is traditionally associated with nature, growth, abundance and new beginnings.
