This piece has so much natural character. The front is filled with open pockets of shimmering druzy and beautiful crystal points, with blush pinks and peachy tones flowing through warmer rusty-red areas. The different formations and textures create incredible sparkle as the crystals catch the light.

Turn it around and there is another beautiful surprise. The reverse reveals a striking natural area of Green Jasper against the soft pink stone, together with further druzy crystal pockets. I love that the back is just as interesting as the front, making this a particularly special piece from every angle.

A Little About Pink Amethyst

Pink Amethyst is a naturally occurring pink variety of Quartz found in South America. Its beautiful colouring is created by microscopic iron-bearing inclusions, including Hematite. Although its soft pink and peach colouring can resemble Rose Quartz, mineralogical studies have shown the material to be more closely related to Amethyst.

The open areas within this moon reveal natural druzy, where masses of tiny Quartz crystals have grown across cavities within the stone, creating that gorgeous sugar-like sparkle.
