Pink Amethyst has a beautiful pale lilac to pink colouring that is quite different from Rose Quartz. Its captivating colour comes from microscopic Hematite inclusions within the quartz, and spectroscopic analysis has shown Pink Amethyst to be more closely related to Amethyst than other varieties of Pink Quartz — hence the name Pink Amethyst.
