Apatite

Apatite is a fascinating group of phosphate minerals found in a beautiful range of colours, including vivid blue, turquoise, green, yellow, purple and occasionally pink.

Blue Apatite is particularly loved for its intense ocean-blue and blue-green colouring, which can range from beautifully translucent crystalline material to richly coloured opaque pieces. Apatite has a naturally glassy lustre, and when polished its colour can be absolutely stunning.

Natural Apatite can occur as individual crystals, within mineral specimens and alongside other minerals, as well as being polished into spheres, towers, freeforms, carvings and jewellery.

Metaphysically, Apatite is believed to be a stone of motivation, inspiration and personal growth. Blue Apatite in particular is associated with communication, self-expression, clarity and encouraging new ideas, and is commonly connected with the Throat and Third Eye Chakras.

With its incredible colour and natural variations, Apatite is a striking addition to any crystal or mineral collection.
