Labradorite

Labradorite is a beautiful member of the Feldspar mineral family, famous for its incredible flashes of colour known as labradorescence.

As the stone moves and catches the light, brilliant flashes can appear across its surface in shades of blue, green, gold, yellow and sometimes orange, pink and purple. This amazing optical effect is created as light interacts with the fine internal layers within the stone. Every piece is different, with some showing subtle flashes and others displaying spectacular areas of colour.

Metaphysically, Labradorite is believed to be a powerful stone of transformation, intuition and spiritual awareness. It is often associated with protection, strengthening intuition and encouraging you to trust your own inner guidance.
