Moss Agate

Moss Agate is a beautiful variety of Chalcedony, loved for its incredible natural inclusions that can look like tiny forests, moss, branches and landscapes captured within the stone.

Despite its name, Moss Agate doesn't actually contain moss. Its wonderful green, brown and earthy patterns are created by mineral inclusions growing within the translucent to milky Chalcedony. Every piece forms differently, creating completely unique patterns that can be especially beautiful in spheres, towers, freeforms, carvings and polished shapes.

Metaphysically, Moss Agate is believed to be a wonderfully grounding and balancing stone with a strong connection to nature. It is associated with growth, new beginnings, abundance and emotional balance, and is often chosen for its peaceful, earthy energy.

With its beautiful landscape-like formations, no two pieces of Moss Agate will ever be exactly alike.
