Pink Amethyst

Pink Amethyst is a beautiful and relatively rare variety of Quartz, best known for its delicate colouring ranging from soft blush and pale pink through to peachy and deeper rose tones.

Its colour is associated with microscopic iron-bearing inclusions, including Hematite, within the Quartz. Pink Amethyst can form with beautiful natural banding, sparkling crystal points and Druzy-lined pockets, giving each piece its own completely unique appearance.

Although first recognised from deposits in Argentina, Pink Amethyst is also found in other locations, including Brazil. Its combination of soft colouring and sparkling natural formations makes it especially beautiful for statement pieces, carvings and crystal displays.

Metaphysically, Pink Amethyst is believed to carry a gentle, calming energy and is associated with emotional balance, inner peace and clarity.
